CRNA - Per Diem - St. Joseph's Medical Center - Stockton, CA

Compensation & Benefits

Practice Environment
- Location: St. Joseph's Medical Center – Stockton, CA
- 8‑room main OR, cath lab, endoscopy, and 8‑room elective surgery center
- 355‑bed regional medical center (CommonSpirit Hospital System)
- Anesthesiology department: 12 physicians, >30 independent‑practice CRNAs, 24 residents; 16 anesthetizing locations daily
- Annual anesthesia volume: ~14,300 cases (≈9,000 surgical, 800 cardiac, 2,000 out‑of‑OR in GI, EP/Cath, interventional radiology)
- OB services: ~3,000 births per year
- Call: 24 hr in‑house, 24 hr OB; must be within 30 min of facility
- Full scope practice: regional anesthesia, arterial lines, central lines
- Shifts: 8‑ or 12‑hour; call shifts available; scheduled per your lifestyle
- Post‑call day off after first call
- Collaborative MD/CRNA model
Locations
- St. Joseph's Surgery Center: 5‑room OR (general, GYN, urology, pain procedures, ENT, pediatric dental, ENT, endoscopy)
- St. Joseph's Medical Center: 8‑room main OR (cath lab, endoscopy)
This is a unique practice where CRNAs and MDs work independently in an academic environment with an anesthesiology residency program.

- Experience preferred; new graduates with strong motivation and competence are welcome
Qualifications
- Active state RN and CRNA licenses
- Board certification required
- ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications
