We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst – SOC & Threat Detection for a 12+ month contract (potential for extension or conversion) in Pontiac Michigan. This is a HYBRID position with a minimum of 2 days onsite each week.

***Must be a U.S. Citizen or green card holder (permanent resident).

***W2 contract or 1099 contract.

***No C2C or 3rd party.

Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for assessing internal controls, business and technical processes, and technology platforms to ensure system and data integrity, while conducting security and compliance reviews of organizational IT systems.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience in SOC Analyst, Threat hunting, Detection engineering, Network Security engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in active troubleshooting of technical systems including documentation creation
• Demonstrated knowledge of core information security principles across areas such as Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), cloud and application security, network and endpoint security (including Zero Trust), incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, penetration testing, malware/forensics analysis, data protection, containerization, and security automation/reporting using scripting tools

What Will Set You Apart:

• Relevant certifications (ISACA CRISC, ISC2 SSCP)
• CrowdStrike experience
• Hands-on experience with SOAR and other automations
• Hands-on experience using AI-driven tools for automation, reporting, and analysis
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST (CSF 2.0, 800-207, 800-53), MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP
• Engagement in the broader infosec community
• Experience with Government (State, local, or federal) IT systems (StateRamp/FedRamp)
• GRC experience extending to CJIS, HIPAA, PCI etc.
