Data Analyst

Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days in office

Duration: 3 months Contract

About the role: We are seeking a Data Analyst III for a short‑term backfill opportunity supporting a fast‑paced BAU environment. This role involves ticket handling, reconciliation activities, and preparation of PowerPoint presentations, with increased activity during month‑end close. The position offers a collaborative team culture, strong managerial support, and a structured onboarding period.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day BAU activities and manage incoming tickets and process requests
• Prepare and update PowerPoint decks for internal stakeholders
• Perform financial reconciliations and support month‑end activities
• Coordinate and implement updates related to data and reporting needs
• Ensure high‑quality deliverables with strong attention to detail
• Collaborate with internal teams; minimal meeting load (approx. 1 hour/week)

Must Have Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely work products in a fast‑paced environment
• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders
• Apply financial and accounting knowledge to reconciliation tasks
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and presentations

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analysis or a related role
• Experience with reconciliation and financial data
• Prior exposure to ticketing systems and process requests is a plus

Skillsets

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Financial and accounting background
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Education

• Post‑secondary education required
