About the Role:
Join The Gentle Dentist as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless dental experience. We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health goals, supporting both restorative and hygiene treatment journeys.
Responsibilities:

• Manage patient schedules and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans with the dental team.
• Actively assist in scheduling, coordinating, and following up with hygiene patients to ensure regular preventative care.
• Support the hygiene team by seating patients, prepping treatment rooms, and performing thorough room turnovers/sanitization between appointments.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, hygiene recommendations, and financial arrangements.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of patient records and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
• Handle insurance verification and claims processing to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene instructions, and follow-up appointments.
• Collaborate with the dental team to improve office efficiency and patient flow.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting or hygiene coordination experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in dental software and office management systems.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of dental insurance processes and billing procedures.
• Positive attitude and a passion for patient care.
• Certification in dental terminology is a plus.
