Role Overview: The Product Manager – Design Deployment & Quality will be responsible for transitioning advanced technology programs (degrees and certificates) from approved academic design to full delivery readiness and ensuring ongoing program quality across their lifecycle. This is a Senior Individual Contributor (IC) role. The role requires deep technical fluency and strong program delivery experience to successfully operationalize programs in domains such as AI, Data Science, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
The individual will serve as the bridge between faculty vision and technical execution, working closely with academic leadership and IT/technology teams.
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Core Mandate
Translate academically approved program designs into delivery-ready, technically robust
offerings.
Ensure operational and technical readiness before cohort launch.
Track program performance and continuously improve quality.
Drive disciplined program governance across lifecycle stages.
Design-to-Delivery Transition (Technology-Focused)
Convert academic curriculum into structured execution plans.
Engage deeply with faculty to understand technical depth and tooling needs.
Work with IT and LMS teams to deploy:
- Lab environments
- Cloud infrastructure
- Coding platforms
- Simulation tools
- Assessment engines
Ensure readiness of sandbox environments, datasets, APIs, and external tool integrations.
Conduct structured Technical Go-Live Reviews.
Identify and mitigate deployment risks in technology-heavy modules.
Technology & Infrastructure Alignment
Evaluate and document technology stack requirements for each program.
Coordinate with:
- Internal IT teams
- Cloud vendors (AWS/Azure/GCP ecosystem familiarity desirable)
- External lab platform providers
Ensure scalability and reliability for multi-cohort delivery.
Oversee integration of third-party tools.
Anticipate infrastructure capacity and performance risks.
Lifecycle & Quality Governance
Develop and maintain program dashboards tracking:
- Technical performance
- Lab reliability
- Learner engagement
- Completion rates
- Escalation trends
- Conduct structured post-cohort reviews.
- Drive curriculum and technical refresh cycles.
- Maintain documentation and version control.
Cross-Functional Execution
Coordinate across:
- Faculty & Academic Committees
- IT & Technology Teams
- Marketing & Admissions
- Student Success & Operations
Ensure marketing positioning reflects technical rigor accurately.
Resolve technical escalations impacting learner experience.
Maintain milestone-driven launch plans.
Skill and Ability Requirements
Technical Fluency
Ability to engage meaningfully with engineers, cloud architects, and DevOps teams.

Qualification & Experience
Required Experience
10–15 years of professional experience
Strong experience in technology services firms (mandatory).
Experience in program management / delivery leadership roles.
Experience managing complex cross-functional technology initiatives.
Exposure to enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, or platform deployments.
Experience interacting with senior technical stakeholders.
Educational Qualification
Mandatory: Engineering Graduate (B.E./B. Tech or equivalent)
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification: Desirable
