DevOps Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an DevOps Architect to lead DevOps strategy and delivery for enterprise Amazon Connect Digital (Chat) platforms. This role combines hands-on architecture with team leadership, focusing on CI/CD, IaC, and scalable cloud solutions across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (CDK/CloudFormation)
• Lead AWS services setup (Amazon Connect, IAM, DynamoDB, Lex bots, Lambda integrations)
• Manage multi-environment deployments and cross-account pipelines
• Lead and mentor DevOps team across sprints and deliveries
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, voice, SIP, and platform‑related issues
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and analytics teams during incidents and releases
• Integrate security best practices ("secure-by-default") into the pipeline, including access control and vulnerability scanning
• Implement monitoring (CloudWatch, X-Ray) and incident management
• Drive automation, testing, and environment stability

• 10+ years of experience supporting production systems in a DevOps, SRE or operations‑focused role
• Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Strong hands‑on experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and VPC networking
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux production environments
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practices
• Strong troubleshooting, investigation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, architecture, data, and operations teams

Nice To Have

• Migration experience (Genesys / LivePerson → Amazon Connect)
• Salesforce/ServiceNow CTI integration
• Exposure to AWS Bedrock / GenAI
• AWS DevOps or SA Professional certifications
