Job Description

* Collaborate in an interdisciplinary and agile testing team responsible for the internal DevOps tools of the automated testing teams by following Festo's international test standards

* Design, standardize, and maintain repositories and CI/CT/CD pipelines

* Manage and maintain virtualized environments for automated and manual testing

* Utilize the latest technologies and DevOps tools for efficient test operations

* Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure smooth code and test integration

* Monitor and troubleshoot issues in builds, deployments, and test executions

The Successful Applicant

A successful Test Automation Engineer - DevOps should have:

* Completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable qualifications.

* Proven expertise and at least 3 years of practical experience in DevOps tooling.

* Very good knowledge in using GIT and tools like GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity or similar

* Good knowledge in using virtualization tools like VirtualBox, VMware, Azure or similar

* Good knowledge of programming in Microsoft .NET/C# and/or Python.

* Experience and routine in agile software development methods ( SCRUM) desirable

* Analytical skills, structured and abstract thinking as well as creativity combined with a very good ability to work in a team

* Good written and spoken English skills (at least B2)
