Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and company vehicles.
- Inspect and troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment checks to ensure safety and performance.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field when necessary.
- Collaborate with the operations and field teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
- 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in construction or heavy equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Own tools required; company provides specialty equipment.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
