Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummary: We are seeking a Site Deployment Lead to drive the successful implementation of enterprise IT and digital solutions at the local pharmaceutical manufacturing site level. This role will act as the primary on-site leader for deployment execution, ensuring that centrally developed solutions are effectively implemented, adopted, and embedded into daily operations. The Site Deployment Lead will work closely with the Site Deployment Program Lead and site leadership to coordinate all aspects of deployment, including site readiness, system integration, testing, training, and go-live support. This role is critical in bridging global program objectives with site-specific operational realities, ensuring that deployments are both technically successful and operationally impactful. Responsibilities:
Site Deployment ExecutionLead the end-to-end execution of deployment activities at the site.Ensure all deployment milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with program expectations.Execute deployment plans in alignment with the global rollout strategy and wave planning.Site Readiness & PlanningAssess and ensure site readiness across: Business processes, Data and systems, Operational workflows, and Resource availability.Develop and maintain detailed site-level deployment plans.Coordinate pre-deployment activities including data preparation, validation, and environment readiness.Local Coordination & IntegrationAct as the central coordinator for all on-site deployment activities.Work closely with: Global program team, IT delivery teams, Functional and operational site teams.Coordinate system integration, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities.Stakeholder EngagementServe as the primary point of contact for site leadership regarding deployment activities.Align deployment plans with site priorities, constraints, and production schedules.Provide regular updates to both the Site Head and the Site Deployment Program Lead.Change Management & AdoptionDrive user adoption and ensure successful embedding of new systems and processes.Coordinate and support: End-user training, Communication plans, and Change impact assessmentsAct as a change champion within the site.Go-Live & StabilizationLead site-level go-live execution and hypercare activities.Ensure smooth transition from deployment to steady-state operations.Identify and resolve post-go-live issues in coordination with global and IT teams.Issue & Risk ManagementIdentify, track, and manage site-level risks and issues.Escalate critical issues to the Program Lead when required.Proactively mitigate risks that could impact deployment success.Continuous ImprovementCapture lessons learned from site deployments.Provide feedback to the Program Lead to improve future deployment waves.Support standardization and optimization of deployment practices across sites.Business Value RealizationEnsure deployed solutions are effectively utilized to deliver expected operational benefits.Monitor adoption and performance at the site level.Partner with site leadership to drive sustained value from implemented solutions. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.5–10 years of experience in:Manufacturing operations (Pharmaceutical, Biopharma, Medical devices)Site-level project or deployment rolesEnterprise system implementationsPreferred Qualifications:Site level deployment: Experience supporting or leading site-level deployments or enterprise systems. Hands-on involvement in implementation activities such as testing, training, and go-live.Enterprise systems implementationSystems: ERP-SAP, MES, Planning or qualification systemsGreat technical knowledgeLeadership and coordination skills: Great interaction with multidisciplinary teams. Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams at the site level. Proven ability to work in matrix environments with dual reporting lines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Manufacturing environment knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production constraints. Experience in global or multi-site deployment programs.Familiarity with structured deployment methodologies and change management practices.Work Methodology:Professional services contractOne (1) year of first assignment On site job in Puerto RicoFull time job, Administrative shift Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and wiling to support non admin. hours
