Direct Sales Representative – Community Solar

Hybrid Remote – Springfield, MA (01103)
$50,000 – $200,000 per year | Commission + Bonuses

Overview

Are you a motivated and people-oriented professional looking to grow your career in sales? We’re seeking a Direct Sales Representative to join our team and help expand access to community solar energy solutions.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working directly with customers, building relationships, and presenting valuable energy-saving opportunities. As part of our team, you will engage with prospective clients, educate them on community solar programs, and guide them through a simple enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through door-to-door sales, direct sales outreach, and local community engagement
• Conduct clear and informative presentations on community solar, renewable energy, and cost-saving programs
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support marketing and lead generation efforts

Qualifications

• Preferred Experience in direct sales, outside sales, customer-facing roles, or canvassing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Comfortable speaking with new people and explaining simple concepts clearly
• Goal-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply
• Interest or experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or energy sales is a plus
