The Director of Technology Procurement & Vendor Management provides strategic leadership and oversight for all technology vendor relationships, contract lifecycle management, sourcing strategy, purchase order and invoice governance. This role ensures that the organization optimizes vendor value, maintains financial and contractual discipline, manages technology assets effectively, and mitigates commercial and compliance risks. The Director leads teams across vendor management, sourcing support, contract lifecycle operations, PO/invoice processing, and while serving as a senior liaison to Legal, Sourcing/Procurement, Finance, and other corporate functions.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC and Quincy, MA.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technology vendor strategy, including vendor segmentation, relationship management, and performance scorecards.
- Lead the full technology contract lifecycle, including intake, sourcing, negotiation, execution, renewals, and exit planning.
- Oversee PO and invoice operations, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and alignment with Finance requirements.
- Direct sourcing activities, including RFP/RFI/RFQ events, cost modeling, business case development, and negotiation of commercial and contractual terms.
- Govern technology contract management, including master service agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs), service level agreements (SLAs), and renewal calendars.
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, financial performance reporting, and technology spend optimization.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendor performance, PO and invoice cycle time, savings, renewals, and asset utilization.
- Serve as primary liaison to Legal, Security, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Technology leadership.
- Drive process improvements and enhance the effectiveness of procurement, vendor management, and asset management tools.
- Build and lead a high-performing team; manage vendor partners and functional budgets.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive Technology leadership experience, including procurement, vendor management, sourcing, contract management.
- 4-5+ years leading diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and execution, including sourcing strategies or vendor portfolio management.
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, spend analysis, cost optimization, and ROI evaluation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including talent development and succession planning.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business needs into vendor and procurement strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- Experience leading global or multi location teams.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or modern technology roadmaps.
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $161,600-$242,400
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $185,840- $278-760
