Department: eDiscovery and Litigation
Government Services seeks an experienced and motivated Director of eDiscovery for one of our large government projects. This role will lead the electronic discovery team, supporting government professionals in all aspects of litigation support and eDiscovery processes, including project management, ESI intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and liaison with third‑party vendors.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative functions related to litigation support software and eDiscovery databases, including database creation and maintenance, importing images, data, transcripts, searching and exporting data, document scanning, OCR, coding, and document productions.
- Process and publish electronically stored information for cases.
- Assist in the preparation of documents and exhibits for trial.
- Receive and log incoming media; maintain chain of custody and tracking documentation for media and data.
- Contribute to internal process development by preparing workflows and documentation.
- Work overtime hours, including nights and weekends, on a per‑project/case basis.
- Exercise problem‑solving skills.
- Work directly with the General Counsel, Attorneys, Law Clerks, and Legal Assistants as part of the matter team.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues within the eDiscovery platform.
- Maintain knowledge of discovery industry best practices and new regulations through training, certification, and networking.
- Meet with and build relationships with eDiscovery vendors and maintain relationships with current vendors.
- Be self‑motivated and eager to shape the future of the department.
- Learn new eDiscovery review platforms quickly.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the litigation lifecycle and electronic discovery/document review processes, procedures, and practices.
- 7+ years of experience in litigation support, electronic discovery, and/or technology support—preferably within the Government, but a law firm or top eDiscovery vendor also acceptable.
- Experience performing Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity.
- Experience providing end‑user support on all Litigation Support applications, including training.
- Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO, and other applicable eDiscovery platforms.
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
- Relativity Certified Administrator certification (preferred).

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 a year.
