Job Description
Proxima Executive Search Services has been exclusively mandated to identify a Director – Finance & Accounts for a high-growth, family-led and professionally managed organization , where strategic direction is driven by the promoters while experienced professionals oversee day-to-day operations. The company operates on a pan-India basis , is a key player in its category within the core sector , and is strongly aligned with circular economy principles . The role comes at a critical phase of expansion, with a focus on capital mobilisation, investor engagement, and IPO readiness , offering close interaction with promoters and the board.
Key Responsibilities Lead fund mobilisation initiatives (short, medium, and long-term), with a primary focus on debt financing Establish and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and rating agencies Drive the organization’s IPO preparedness, including financial restructuring, governance, and regulatory alignment Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and control frameworks Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory, and regulatory requirements Implement robust risk management and internal control systems Provide financial leadership in tendering, bid evaluation, and commercial decision-making Ideal Candidate Profile Chartered Accountant with 20+ years of progressive experience Strong track record in debt raising, structured finance, and capital strategy Prior exposure to capital markets / IPO processes / investor relations Experience in large, project-driven or asset-heavy organizations preferred Demonstrated ability to engage with CXOs, Board members, and external stakeholders Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities Why This Role Opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy at scale Direct exposure to capital markets and strategic fundraising initiatives High visibility role with senior leadership and board-level engagement Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives and long-term upside
