About the Role
We’re expanding our ecosystem — and we’re hiring a Director, Partnerships & Business Development to drive strategic partnerships, new revenue opportunities, and ecosystem growth across Canada’s digital identity and fraud‑prevention landscape.
What You’ll Do
As Director, Partnerships & Business Development, you will be responsible for both net new business development and strategic partnership growth. You’ll build new commercial opportunities, open new market segments, and create new relationships with Enterprise organizations, identity providers, and potential new channel partners. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technology to bring new solutions and revenue streams to market.
New Business Development
- Deliver new revenue growth through identifying, qualifying, and securing new clients within target sectors (i.e., Retail and e-Commerce, Public Sector, iGaming, other). Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets
- Build a robust pipeline of opportunities through networking, industry events, referrals and direct prospecting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention. Negotiate new contracts and renewal agreements.
Partnership Development & Management
- Build and execute EnStream’s partnership strategy to drive new business relationships and create sales opportunities
- Source, negotiate, and close new strategic partnerships and distribution channels
- Manage executive level partner relationships and quarterly business reviews
- Work with Product & Technology to develop co innovation and API integration opportunities
- Drive partner sourced revenue and joint go to market initiatives
- Ensure partnership compliance with privacy, telecom, and data governance requirements
- Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to position EnStream solutions effectively.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to shape offerings and improve go-to-market effectiveness.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) data, pipeline forecasts, and account plans.
- Present regular updates to senior leadership on performance against targets.
What You Bring
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 12+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances
- Proven track record driving net new revenue and closing complex commercial deals
- A true “hunter” sales mentality
- Experience in identity, fraud, fintech, telecom, cybersecurity, or data driven SaaS (preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills and executive presence
- Experience building scalable partner programs, channels, or ecosystems
- Understanding of API products, integrations, and technical partnership models
- Comfortable operating in a high trust, privacy sensitive, regulated environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) a plus.
