Honeywell is hiring a Director, Procurement Project Management.
As a Strategy Development Director here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the creation of the Procurement strategic initiatives aligned to the ISC strategy of building a stronger, more agile ISC organization to enable growth and deliver greater value to our customers and employees. The Procurement strategy will drive enterprise-wide Strategic Sourcing with regional execution and the development and standardization of systems and processes across our businesses.
In this role, you will impact on the organization by shaping long‑term strategies and aligning resources to achieve business objectives.
The role will work out of the Honeywell hub locations in Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA OR Houston, TX and work on a hybrid work schedule, plus 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive procurement strategies
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to prioritize strategic initiatives
- Drive strategic project concepts ensuring alignment with company goals
- Provide guidance and mentorship to strategy teams and stakeholders
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of transferrable experience
- Experience working for a large, matrixed organization
- Proven experience in strategic planning and business development leadership
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in data‑driven decision making
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders
Desired Capabilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or related field
- Experience in technology, industrial, or related sectors
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Innovative thinking and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with market research and competitive intelligence
