As a Case Manager – Long-Term Disability, you will play a key role in assessing disability claims and supporting participants throughout their recovery journey.
What You’ll Accomplish With Us
- Assess long‑term disability claims to determine benefit eligibility in accordance with medical information, contractual provisions, and internal policies.
- Conduct detailed telephone interviews to gather relevant medical and non‑medical information.
- Develop, implement, and actively manage individualized case management plans.
- Identify functional limitations and non‑medical factors influencing disability duration and support return‑to‑work initiatives in collaboration with rehabilitation teams.
- Communicate professionally with participants, policyholders, health professionals, service providers, and government bodies through various channels.
What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Role
- Possesses a post‑secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field, human resources, or any other relevant discipline.
- Has 4 to 5 years of experience in disability claims management or in a similar role.
- Is known for strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in complex case management situations.
- Stands out for excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Demonstrates adaptability, organization, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

The typical hiring range for this position is between $60,636.00 and $79,585.00 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
