We are looking for a passionate and experienced Divisional Merchandise Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end merchandising operations across multiple vendors, ensuring customer requirements are translated into effective sourcing strategies, strong vendor performance, and seamless on-time delivery. This role is key to driving business growth, strengthening customer and supplier partnerships, and continuously improving speed, cost, and quality.
Here is what you need to know about this role:Act as a strategic extension of the customer’s organization, building strong long-term partnerships to grow and retain the businessLead and develop the merchandising team with clear direction, transparency, and strong execution discipline to deliver high performanceDevelop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple vendors to meet customer cost, quality, capacity, and lead-time requirementsBuild, manage, and continuously strengthen a robust local and regional vendor base to support current and future business growthLead vendor negotiations on pricing, MOQ, capacity, quality standards, and delivery commitmentsOversee end-to-end order execution, including development, costing, production tracking, and delivery performanceIdentify and implement cost-saving, speed-to-market, and efficiency improvement opportunities across the supply chainLead workflow optimization and process improvements to enhance product development and production executionEnsure effective management of product engineering changes and documentation through efficient systems and controlsEstablish operational standards, KPIs, and performance tracking to drive accountability and continuous improvementResolve escalated customer, vendor, and internal operational issuesSupport business development activities and contribute to new customer growth where required
You might be a good fit if you have/are …Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in apparel sourcing, merchandising, or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a managerial roleStrong product, fabric, and material knowledge with solid experience in product development and production executionProven experience managing multi-vendor sourcing environments and complex customer requirementsStrong customer-facing capability with excellent relationship management and service mindsetDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing merchandising teamsStrong commercial acumen with negotiation and vendor management expertiseExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic sourcing environmentResults-driven, self-motivated, responsive, and highly detail-orientedExcellent written and spoken English communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsWillingness to travel occasionally to vendor and factory locations
