Ecommerce & Trading Assistant

Location : London (office based) About the Brand HUISHAN ZHANG, the internationally acclaimed luxury fashion house celebrated for its fusion of Eastern heritage and Western design, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ecommerce & Trading Assistant to support daily operations and online performance. The Role This is a hands-on role focused on ecommerce trading, site merchandising, and customer experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the website, ensuring stock accuracy, supporting weekly trading updates, and delivering a seamless customer journey.

The role also involves supporting ecommerce shoots and ensuring smooth coordination between teams. Key Responsibilities Ecommerce Operations & Trading Upload and maintain products on Shopify (imagery, pricing, descriptions, product details) Ensure all product data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards Manage Shopify backend including collections, navigation, and homepage updates Support weekly trading updates, actively merchandising the website to optimise performance Customer Experience Manage all customer service queries across ecommerce and social media channels Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries (orders, delivery, sizing, returns) Maintain a high standard of brand tone and customer care Process online returns in line with company T&Cs and ensure items meet QC standards Digital Support Monitor comments and messages on paid social ads (e.g. Facebook/Instagram) Ensure products featured in campaigns are in stock and available online Operations Support Support the planning and execution of ecommerce shoots, including running orders, sample preparation, and on-set assistance (e.g. dressing models) Provide ad hoc support during sample sales and stock takes Assist with inventory organisation and general ecommerce operations About You Experience with Shopify Strong attention to detail and organisational skills A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent written communication and a customer-first mindset Interest in ecommerce trading and luxury fashion Desirable Previous experience in fashion or luxury retail Understanding of ecommerce merchandising and trading performance Basic proficiency in photo and video editing
