- Leading the technical design of LV switchgear systems based on project requirements
- System Design:
- Create, single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics and general arrangement (GA) drawings specifically for LV switchboards and motor control centers (MCCs).
- Electrical Calculations: Perform critical LV-specific calculations such as short-circuit withstand, temperature rise, voltage drop, and busbar sizing.
- Busbar & Enclosure Design:
- Design copper or aluminium bus systems and internal compartmentalization to meet arc flash and fault containment requirements.
- Detailed sheet metal design for enclosures including ACB chambers, Busbar chambers and Cable alleys
- Component Selection:
- Select and specify ratings for circuit breakers, relays, fuses, and busbars based on project requirements and electrical load calculations.
- Select and size low-voltage components, including Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), contactors, and protective relays.
- Cost estimation
- Supporting estimators and project coordinators with technical guidance during project development
- Estimation of Components, Busbar systems, panel/switch board
