Emergency Medicine opening in PennsylvaniaOpportunity in DuBois, PAPittsburgh 100mFull Time; Permanent PositionEmployed OpportunityProspective applicants will be comfortable working at all of our 4 local emergency departments. All facilities are within 30 minutes of Dubois.Main Facility (DuBois): - 28K annual ED patient volume - New state-of-the-art ED that opened mid-April 2023 - 44 rooms with 4 trauma bays - Level II Trauma Center - 360 bed hospital - 8,9,10 hour shifts - 36 hours of daily physician coverage and 24 hours of daily APP coverage - New state-of-the-art neuro trauma ICU2nd Facility: - 14K annual ED patient volume - Critical Access Hospital - 12 hour shifts - Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage3rd Facility: - 8K annual ED patient volume - Critical Access Hospital - 12, 24 hour shifts - Single Physician coverage4th Facility: - 16K annual ED patient volume - Critical Access Hospital - 12 hour shifts - Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverageComp/Benefits: - ABEM certified physicians $270/hr + $30/hr shift differential - $30/hr night diff., holidays, and weekends - 100k sign-on for 5 year commitment - 18-month stipend program at $2,500/month - Great benefit package - 3k + 40 hours annually for CME - 403b with 4% match - Malpractice and Tail coverageAbout the town:The aptly named DuBois (meaning "the woods") is close to miles of forests, making this small town a haven for nature-lovers and anybody seeking the quiet of the outdoors.In addition to their quaint beauty, these small towns are known for their welcoming, friendly residents, quality, highly ranked schools, safe neighborhoods and low cost of living.
