Your Impact
We build and ship products for law enforcement and the communities they serve on a national and global scale. You will lead the development of the technology that will change society as a whole, furthering Axon’s mission of Protect Life and Capture Truth. You will work with some of the best and brightest engineering teams across cameras, sensors, VR, and other domains to develop cutting‑edge products from start to finish while balancing complex tradeoffs.
What You’ll Do
Location: Scottsdale, AZ office; hybrid schedule (in‑person Tuesdays‑Fridays, remote Mondays unless otherwise accommodated).
Reports to: Senior Director of Program Management.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, driving critical decision‑making on flagship products and managing improvements for products currently on the market (design changes, yield, performance, second source, cost savings).
- Create, track and own program budgets and schedules to ensure delivery of high‑quality products that meet customer needs.
- Serve as a driving force from early concept through launch, being a key stakeholder in all decisions.
- Work with a diverse technical team: electrical, mechanical, industrial, software, firmware, quality, validation, and manufacturing.
- Build relationships and influence teams across the organization, ensuring seamless development phases.
- Own and deliver a product suite that customers love.
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in program management for hardware development.
- 2–5 years of experience building processes, project management, and scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience and strong understanding of basic engineering principles and development.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical/engineering issues.
- Skill in identifying and resolving conflicts, inter‑dependencies, and program issues quickly and efficiently.
- Analytical thinking applied to product development needs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem‑solve, and prioritize.
- A problem‑solving mindset, tenacity to develop ideas independently, multitasking ability, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
