Role Summary:Lead the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function across projects by establishing and implementing robust safety systems, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving a strong safety culture to enable safe and timely project execution. Key Roles & Responsibilities:Develop and implement EHS Management Systems, policies, procedures, and guidelines across project sitesEnsure compliance with all applicable statutory EHS regulations and internal policiesDrive execution and adoption of EHS practices across teams and project sitesConduct regular safety inspections to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actionsAdvise and support project teams, supervisors, and department heads on occupational health & safety measuresMonitor effectiveness of safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement to prevent incidentsCoordinate with site teams, safety engineers, and client safety teams for seamless implementation of safety practicesConduct audits, site visits, and manage client escalations related to safetyTrack and consolidate safety data across projects; maintain MIS and documentation for reporting and future pre-qualification
Requirements:B.E./B.Tech (relevant discipline)10-15 years of experience in EHS, preferably within EPC/construction projectsStrong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and implementation practicesExperience in managing safety audits, inspections, and compliance frameworksStrong coordination and stakeholder management skillsHigh attention to detail with a proactive and risk-aware approach
