Estimator/ Senior Estimator – Basements & Substructures

Roles/Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and Bills of Quantities
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Build first-principles estimates where required
• Assess construction methodology, sequencing, and associated risks
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings
• Support value engineering and buildability reviews
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction or civil engineering
• Strong technical understanding of construction methodology and engineering principles
• Background in sectors such as groundworks, basements, piling, geotechnical, foundations, demolition, structural alterations, or civils
• Ability to interpret engineering and structural drawings
• Experience producing take-offs and tender submissions
