Job Overview

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for a qualified Evening Working Supervisor for an immediate position located within the Ottawa area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and plan the work of employees
• Conduct monthly inspections of the facilities (including monitoring inventory and supplies)
• Ensure the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment
• Cleaning duties including but not limited to: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing
• Completing orientation and training of all new staff
• Complete and submit time-off requests, disciplinary reports, accident reports, and other supervisor
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as floor waxing, carpet cleaning, or
• Monitor and maintain Domus standards of cleanliness

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and French
• Supervisor experience within the cleaning industry (commercial, industrial, or office)
• Advanced reading, writing, and communication skills
• Physical abilities: standing, kneeling, walking up to 8 hrs a day
