About the Role
Lead and build a high-performance culinary program with full ownership of kitchen operations and financial performance. This role includes accountability for food cost, labor management, and overall operating efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all kitchen operations (prep, service, events)
• Serve as on-site Executive Chef at Red Hook Barrel Yard
• Own food program P&L (food cost, labor, vendor management)
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and productivity
• Build systems (recipes, inventory, prep workflows)
• Hire, train, and lead kitchen team
• Ensure quality, consistency, and execution across all service
Who You Are
- Executive Chef or senior kitchen leader experience
• Strong financial discipline (food cost, labor, margins)
• Hands-on operator comfortable with execution and economics
• High standards for quality and accountability
