Position Overview
TH Fireplaces is seeking a skilled and reliable Fireplace Installer to join our growing team. This role involves installing, and maintaining gas fireplaces and related systems in residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Must have experience in installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install gas fireplaces, inserts, and venting systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Diagnose, service, and repair gas fireplaces and related equipment
- Ensure all work complies with Alberta codes and safety regulations
- Complete job documentation, service reports, and safety paperwork (FLHAs, etc.)
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members on-site
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Experience installing and servicing fireplaces (Kingsman, Regency, etc. is an asset)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of venting systems and gas codes
- Physically capable of lifting and working in residential construction environments
