The Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will support construction administration and field services across active projects. Youll be responsible for conducting site reviews, coordinating field activities, and ensuring work is progressing in accordance with design intent and project requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, working independently, and playing a key role in project delivery.
What Youll Be Doing
Field Work & Site Reviews
- Conduct site visits to review construction progress and verify compliance with design intent
- Perform system and equipment checks, inspections, and basic testing
- Issue field instructions and document site observations
- Attend construction and coordination meetings
Project Coordination & Administration
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Track site visits against project scope and flag when additional reviews may be required
- Review project status prior to issuing compliance documentation
- Maintain an up-to-date site schedule and coordinate field activities
Client & Team Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Support identification of additional service opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Safety & Professional Practice
- Maintain up-to-date safety certifications (e.g., site-specific training, fall protection)
- Follow company procedures and quality control standards
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements on all job sites
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, field services, or a related environment
- Experience with building systems, codes, or plumbing/HVAC systems is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Additional Requirements
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle (with insurance)
- Ability to travel to job sites across the GTA and surrounding areas
- Comfortable working on construction sites, including ladders and heights
