Job Description
Job Title: Finance AdminType: TemporaryLocation: BridgendSalary: TBCHours: 25 hours per week (flexible to suit) BRC are working closely with a well-established charity organisation supporting vulnerable individuals through community living, social enterprise, and resettlement support services. This role involves supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the organisation, ensuring accurate processing of financial records, maintaining accounting systems, and assisting with payroll, reconciliations, and reporting duties. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team to support effective financial operations across multiple sites.Duties:Processing purchase invoices, payments, and reconciliationsSupporting payroll administration and pension processesMaintaining petty cash and banking recordsAssisting with sales ledger duties including invoicing and credit controlReconciling bank accounts and financial transactionsSupporting VAT returns and Gift Aid administrationMaintaining accurate financial records using accounting softwareAssisting with month-end finance processes and reportingSupporting community finance administration including allowances and expense trackingLiaising with internal teams and external stakeholders where requiredProviding general finance and administrative support to the organisationRequirements:Previous experience in a finance administration, accounts assistant, or bookkeeping roleGood understanding of financial processes including purchase and sales ledgerExperience using accounting software such as Sage or similar systemsStrong numerical and organisational skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to manage workload effectively and meet deadlinesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismExperience within the charity or not-for-profit sector is desirableAAT qualification or working towards finance qualifications is desirable For more information, please call Meg Smith on or .
