Finance Assistant

A growing hospitality group in Columbus, OH is seeking a detail‑oriented and collaborative Finance Assistant to support financial operations tied to construction, development, and new location openings. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who enjoys working with numbers, processes, and cross‑functional partners in a fast‑moving, team‑oriented environment.

• Support construction and development finance activities, including treasury tasks, cash flow tracking, and lease‑related documentation.
• Prepare, update, and maintain Excel‑based financial reports for active development projects.
• Track expenses, reconcile financial data, and ensure accurate reporting across project portfolios.
• Partner closely with the Director of Finance and Finance Manager to forecast, monitor, and analyze financial activity related to new restaurant openings.
• Maintain financial records, documentation, and supporting schedules to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Assist with risk management processes and perform day‑to‑day transactional tasks as assigned by finance leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, OR 2+ years of relevant finance or construction accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet management.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort in a task‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills; enjoys working with a friendly, collaborative group.

• Experience in hospitality, construction accounting, development finance, or multi‑unit operations.
• Familiarity with basic financial reporting or treasury processes.
• Exposure to forecasting or project accounting.
