A growing company in Plymouth Meeting, PA is seeking a Junior Equipment Finance Attorney to support its legal team. This role will involve handling equipment finance transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting broader business goals.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and consumer equipment finance agreements (e.g., loans, leases, related documents).
Assist with regulatory compliance and licensing matters.
Support the Chief Legal Officer in closing and managing equipment finance transactions, both internally and with outside counsel.
Provide legal guidance to internal departments on equipment finance issues.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
Maintain organized and current legal templates and documentation.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Bar admission in the state where the position is located.
1-3 years of experience in equipment finance, commercial finance, or related legal work.
Solid understanding of equipment finance structures and legal frameworks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Law firm or in-house legal experience focused on equipment finance.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, including UCC Article 9.
Familiarity with commercial finance compliance and licensing requirements.
