As a Finance Director, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, MedSurg, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Partnering with Manufacturing and Supply Chain leaders supporting MedSurg to drive operational performance, including setting direction on plant productivity, operating expenses (plant and non‑plant; direct, indirect, and fixed), sourcing spend, capital expenditures (growth and maintenance), and inventory
- Partnering with MedSurg Business Finance to drive credibility of short‑ and medium‑term COGS P&L and balance sheet projections
- Partnering to drive sourcing spend optimization across materials, outsourced manufacturing, logistics, and freight
- Partnering with Business Finance and Supply Chain teams to drive alignment across demand, supply, production, and inventory
- Driving daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational rhythms to ensure accountability for worldwide COGS, inventory, spending, and working capital performance versus plan
- Providing recurring financial visibility (COGS and cash) to the broader business by leveraging standard reporting across plants, distribution centers, and support functions
- Supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain Finance annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly operating rhythms, as well as strategic plan development
- Ensuring compliance with financial standards related to COGS, inventory, and capital expenditures
- Attracting, developing, and retaining talent
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND twelve (12) years of experience in business finance, manufacturing finance, supply chain finance, and/or financial accounting in a private, public, government or military environment
AND
- Experience in manufacturing finance and/or supply chain finance
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, or Business Administration from an accredited institution
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience working in a medical technology (MedTech) or medical device (Med Device) organization
- Experience designing or supporting global execution models and governance structures
- Experience defining and supporting global strategies for plant or operations environments
- Experience communicating and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels, including participation in or support of enterprise‑level transformation initiatives
- Experience coaching and collaborating using principle‑based or standardized frameworks to support team effectiveness and cross‑functional alignment

Travel: May include up to 30% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $211,600 - $290,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
