Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical/Business Office Clerk Date Posted: 4/10/2026 Location: SAU office Date Available: 07/01/2026 Closing Date: 04/27/2026 Finance Manager Reports To: Business Administrator Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in Business and Finance preferred. Minimum of three (3) years business experience required.
Job Goal: To assist the Business Administrator in the management of District finances and record keeping and to assist with all compliance statutes for the State of New Hampshire and the Federal government Performance Responsibilities: Overview: Assists the Business Administrator in managing the business activities of the nine schools and the central office. Finance Responsibilities: Prepare annual budget books for the central office. This includes research, balancing, typing, collating and distribution.
Oversees and coordinates the preparation, distribution and posting of annual school district warrants. Coordinates with School District Clerks to assure accurate posting and preparation of ballots. Compiles financial data and prepares the year-end financial reports for the State of New Hampshire (MS-24, MS-22, DOE-25).
Coordinates annual year-end financial audit for the school district and the central office. Maintains monthly student activity reports and serves as back-up to the Federal Funds Bookkeeper for various functions. Receives and accounts for all districts' revenues and receipts.
Prepares monthly revenue and expenditure reports. Reconciles with School District Treasurers on a monthly basis. Maintains general ledger accounts for the district.
Issues tuition invoices as needed. Business/General Office Responsibilities: Facilitates Business Office functions. Duties include preparing chart of accounts annually, assisting Accounts Payable Bookkeeper and Payroll Bookkeeper in setting up and managing their accounts; Coordinate financial accounting software matters with vendor; Assists in preparation of specifications and related documents for services/products purchased through the competitive bidding process, i.e. minor construction projects, copiers, lawn care, snow plowing, etc.
Oversees leased equipment inventories (copy machines, modular buildings, etc.) for the district and the central office; Maintains all transportation related files; Maintains all insurance related files; Maintains all construction related files Administrative Responsibilities Assists with all administrative duties for the Business Administrator Accomplishes other duties as assigned Apply online: https://gwrsd.sau49nh.gov/
