CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH – Finance Manager (Special Projects) Location: San Antonio, TX Compensation: Up to $130,000 base (DOE) Reports to: CFO The Opportunity We’re conducting a confidential search for a Finance Manager, Special Projects to join a high-impact team with direct exposure to executive leadership. Reporting to the CFO, this role sits at the intersection of FP&A, operational finance, and strategic execution. You’ll play a critical role in driving financial performance, improving processes, and supporting key business decisions across the organization.

What You’ll Do Financial Planning & Analysis Own P&L analysis, delivering clear insights, variance reporting, and actionable recommendations Lead forecasting and financial modeling efforts in partnership with cross-functional teams Manage the annual budgeting process using Vena for planning, reporting, and analysis Prepare and present financial reporting packages to executive leadership Ensure alignment between financial results and business strategy Operational & Payroll Finance Oversee payroll financial reporting and ensure accuracy and strong controls Conduct payroll-related reviews and audits tied to financial statements Partner with HR and Accounting to track payroll trends against budget and actuals Review expense approvals to ensure compliance with company policies Lead cost accounting analysis, identifying key cost drivers and optimization opportunities Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives Lead cross-functional projects with high visibility across the organization Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives Provide deep-dive financial analysis to support strategic priorities Support ad hoc requests from the CFO and executive leadership What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance Strong hands-on experience with Vena (required) Click here to apply online
