Job Description
Key Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics dashboards for WWSO Core leadership, including productivity metrics. Design and implement advanced financial models and analytical tools to support critical decision‑making. Create and implement scalable business mechanisms that help partners make data‑driven decisions.
Conduct in‑depth analysis and present findings directly to senior leaders. Lead the annual financial planning and budgeting process. A Day in the Life Support existing business review mechanisms (WBR, MBR, etc.) and build new metric frameworks for Geo Specialist coverage.
Work with teams on get‑to‑green plans, and measuring and assessing future risks. Analyze key pipeline and productivity metrics to drive business investment and outcomes. Maintain high visibility with the AWS Specialist and Partner Finance Director and Go-to-Market Specialists leaders.
About the Team This role sits within a deeply collaborative team that operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, forging senior‑level business partnerships and enabling Go‑To‑Market solutions spanning the full portfolio of AWS Services and the corresponding Sales teams. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance) experience.
Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience. 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements or customer benefits). Knowledge of SQL/ETL. Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results. MBA, or CPA. 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses. 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making. 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis. 7+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
