The role
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable FinanceOfficerto join our team in Cairns. This is an all‑rounder role ideal for someone who isflexible and adaptable, enjoys variety, values accuracy, and is confidentworking across digital systems while supporting both finance functions andclient services.
Initially offered as a part-time position (approximately 25hours per week), this role may grow to full-time as the organisation continuesto expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts receivable and payable processing
- Payrollsupport and processing (experience with SCHADS Award highlydesirable)
- Bankreconciliations and general ledger support
- Respondingto finance-related enquiries and account management
- Supportingcustomers and stakeholders through finance and client service interactions
- Generalfinance administration and reporting support
- Workingacross multiple digital finance and payroll platforms
About You
- Minimum3+ years’ experience in a similar finance/accounts role
- Strongexperience in receivables, payables, and reconciliations
- Payrollexperience essential; SCHADS Award knowledge a strong advantage
- Confidentworking across digital systems and accounting software
- Highattention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Customerservice or account management experience highly regarded
- Comfortableworking in a role split approximately 75% Accounts / 25% Client Services
- Current valid Australian Right to Work
- Current paid Working With Children Check
