Job Title - Finance Process Improvement Manager / Finance Manager / Finance Operation ManagerJob Location - San Jose-CA or Boise-IDJob DescriptionThe Finance Business Process Expert role is centered on driving end-to-end efficiency improvements across core finance processes. Primary initiatives include reimagining Accounts Payable operations and optimizing financial close activities, with a potential third initiative related to fixed assets or FP&A support . The role spans discovery, analysis, redesign, and implementation of process improvements within a complex, global manufacturing environment.Required Experience and Domain Expertise10+ years of experience in finance process improvement, with strong preference for semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environmentsDeep understanding of Accounts Payable, financial close , and operations finance processesExperience working in large, complex organizations with highly integrated finance systemsBackgrounds in high-tech manufacturing, telecom, networking, or large-scale enterprise companies are preferred; large software firms may be considered as alternatives if experience is highly relevantProcess Improvement and Methodology SkillsStrong capability in process discovery, value stream mapping, and root cause analysisProven experience redesigning and reengineering finance processes to reduce cycle time and effortLean Six Sigma expertise required , with Black Belt preferred; Green Belt acceptable if paired with substantial leadership and hands‑on applicationAbility to develop process improvement roadmaps and guide initiatives from concept through executionSystems and Technical KnowledgePractical, working knowledge of SAP ECC and Snowflake, with emphasis on improving underutilized system capabilitiesAbility to collaborate with IT, procurement, and analytics teams to implement system-driven process improvementsFocus on optimizing existing platforms and workflows, not building new applicationsFamiliarity with finance data, reporting ecosystems, and automation concepts is beneficialCommunication and Leadership SkillsExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior finance leadersAbility to bring cross‑functional teams together, gain buy‑in, and drive changeComfortable leading workshops, facilitating discussions, and presenting recommendations to executivesBalanced skill set combining strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.Preferred: San Jose, CA or Boise, ID location,#J-18808-Ljbffr
