Job Description
Cabot is a global developer and operator of world‑class golf destinations with a growing portfolio of six Cabot properties and four Cabot‑managed properties. The Cabot portfolio includes Cabot Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, Canada, Cabot Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, Cabot Revelstoke in British Columbia, Canada, Cabot Citrus Farms in the United States, Cabot Highlands in Scotland, and Cabot Bordeaux in France. With extensive expertise in golf and hospitality management, Cabot also oversees the operations of several premier golf courses through its Cabot‑managed properties in the United States.
Position Overview
In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Finance and IT, leading the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of system interfaces across our technology stack. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, automation, and efficient financial reporting across platforms such as ERP, PMS, POS, payment systems, and payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage integrations between financial and operational systems (e.g., ERP, POS, PMS, payment gateways).
- Design and maintain automated data flows to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and third‑party vendors to troubleshoot and improve system interfaces.
- Lead initiatives to reduce manual processes through automation and system enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, reconciliation processes, and audit readiness across all integrated systems.
- Support financial close processes through improved system alignment and data availability.
- Evaluate and implement new tools or middleware to improve system interoperability.
- Provide feedback on areas of data input improvement necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- 5+ years of experience working with financial systems, system integrations, or financial operations in a multi‑system environment.
- Demonstrated experience integrating and supporting platforms such as ERP, POS, PMS, and payment gateways.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger structures, and month‑end close processes.
- Experience designing or supporting automated data flows, ETL processes, or system interfaces.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system and data issues across multiple platforms and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data integrity, reconciliation processes, and audit requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive cross‑functional alignment.
