Financial Controller

Reed Finance is working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Financial Controller to oversee its accounting, reporting and financial control activities within a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a senior finance role with broad ownership of statutory reporting, governance and accounting standards, working closely with experienced leadership teams.The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls and compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. The role also provides commercial exposure, partnering with operational stakeholders to support informed decision making.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and delivery of periodic financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standardsDirectly manage three Finance Managers, with overall responsibility for this specific finance departmentMaintain and develop accounting policies, procedures and internal control frameworksSupport the effective use and improvement of finance systemsPartner with budget holders and planning teams to support forecasting, budgeting and business planningProvide financial insight and guidance to senior stakeholders on accounting and control mattersCandidate ProfileFully qualified accountant (CA / ACCA or equivalent)Strong financial control backgroundExperience operating in a multi-entity or group reporting environmentStrong staff management experienceConfident communicator with the credibility to work with senior stakeholdersThis opportunity would suit a strong accounting leader looking to take ownership of financial control and governance within a stable and professional environment.IND-NORTH
