Intro Summary of the Role
The Financial Planning Application Developer (SAP Analytics Cloud) plays a key role in designing, building, and operating enterprise planning solutions within Lonza’s Digital Finance team. This position supports FP&A by delivering scalable and high-performing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning applications across integrated financial and workforce planning processes. The role combines strong technical expertise in SAP SAC with a solid understanding of financial planning processes, acting as a bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Design, develop, and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutionsConfigure SAC planning components including Data Actions, Multi Actions, Input Controls, Data Locking, Advanced Formulas, and SecurityCustomize and enhance SAP Business Content for Integrated Financial Planning and Workforce PlanningIdentify gaps in standard SAP content and propose scalable solutionsSupport solution design workshops and deliver training sessionsMaintain, troubleshoot, and operate SAC planning applicationsAct as a liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholdersWhat We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Data ScienceHands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud PlanningStrong understanding of FP&A processesExperience customizing SAP Business ContentTechnical skills including Advanced Formulas and JavaScript (ES6+)Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbout Lonza
