Job Description
We are representing a leading, high-growth professional services firm in Dublin currently seeking a motivated and technically strong Financial Services Assistant Manager. Key Responsibilities
- Engagement Management: Leading the day-to-day delivery of services for a portfolio of funds, ensuring all operational and reporting cycles are completed on schedule.
- Quality & Technical Review: Performing high-level reviews of complex financial data and regulatory returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with Irish and international standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and managing the performance of senior and junior staff, including resource planning and training.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serving as a primary point of contact for investment managers and board members, providing updates on fund performance and operational status.
- Operational Governance: Developing and maintaining robust internal control frameworks to mitigate risk across the investment lifecycle.
- Problem Solving & Escalation: Managing complex queries or discrepancies, acting as a technical resource for the team and an escalation point for external service providers.
- Project Oversight: Leading specific projects such as fund restructurings, onboarding new clients, or implementing regulatory updates (e.g., ESG or tax changes).
- Business Support: Assisting management in departmental strategy, fee management, and the continuous improvement of operational processes.
Skills & Experience
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Experience in a similar practice environment preferred.
- Strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
- A motivated, effective team player with a proactive approach.
- 2-4 years PQE.
