Job Description
Job Summary
Possible full‑time conversion based on attendance, performance, and available headcount.
8 weeks of on‑site training followed by a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days work‑from‑home.
Laptop provided.
This person will support the Retirement Plan Services department, primarily processing forms and basic transactions such as rollovers, internal transfers, and death certificates. Phone interaction will be minimal.
Job Duties
- Answer and respond to email inquiries regarding plan issues.
- Process forms and perform basic transactions, including rollovers, internal transfers, and death certificates.
- Accurately diagnose issues and provide client‑driven solutions that meet IRS regulatory requirements.
- Interpret rules and regulations by applying retirement plan knowledge.
- Conduct audits of account activity to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review client requests for corrections, determine proper action, and guide branch personnel on resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of retirement plan rules and regulations through internal and external resources and continuous training.
- Communicate, research, and resolve issues with other internal departments.
- Review daily productivity reports to evaluate personal performance.
Work Schedule
The worker can choose either 8:30 am – 5:30 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in financial services, preferably retirement planning, or a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field and some professional experience.
- Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) system is preferred.
- Preferred experience in a call center environment.
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication; proper grammar and spelling at all times.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously using dual monitors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Quick learner; ability to learn and apply different processes simultaneously.
