Manager - Fund Financial Reporting (Contract Role)

We are hiring for a Manager - Fund Financial Reporting role for a leading consulting firm.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage financial reporting engagements within the Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) industry including Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, and other investment funds.Review and prepare fund financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards such as US GAAP and IFRS.Handle various components of financial statements including:Statement of Assets & LiabilitiesSchedule of Investments (SOI)Statement of Changes in Partner's Capital / Net AssetsStatement of OperationsStatement of Cash FlowsFinancial Highlights and related disclosuresApply practical knowledge of accounting and disclosure requirements related to:Fair Value MeasurementFinancial Assets & LiabilitiesDerivativesRisk-related disclosuresCoordinate with auditors, fund administrators, fund controllers, fund owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality deliverables.Drive client satisfaction through effective communication, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.Build strong client relationships and adopt a consultative approach to address client requirements proactively.Support and lead teams while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications5-8 years of relevant experience in Fund Financial Reporting / Alternative Investment Funds.Strong understanding of Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, and related financial reporting processes.Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.Commerce Graduate / MBA / CA / CMA or equivalent qualification.Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in MS Office tools.Experience with fund financial statement preparation tools will be an added advantage.Strong team management and problem-solving abilities.
