About the Company
Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd, one of India’s most awarded leisure hospitality brands with presence in over 65+ exotic locations, is looking for an experienced and skillful General Manager to lead operations at one of our premium resorts at Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
About the Role
Reporting To: Area Director
Candidate Profile:
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to drive business performance and operational efficiency
- Develop and execute business plans aligned with Sterling’s mission, vision, and brand values
- Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including rooms, F&B, guest services, and administration
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Drive revenue growth through innovative sales and marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with Sterling’s standards, operational policies, and local laws
- Build a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
- Mobility: Open to travel and relocation across India
Required Skills
- Current Role: General Manager or Resort Manager (with proven success in managing full-scale resort operations)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resort Manager or equivalent leadership position in a reputed hospitality brand
- Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, revenue optimization, and operational excellence
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on sales and profitability
- Proven ability to manage large, diverse teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Pre-opening experience will be a strong advantage
