Location:  Pune , Maharasthra.

Job Purpose

The General Manager — LT Panels is the single point of accountability for the Pima Controls LT Panel Business Unit. This is a full P&L role spanning manufacturing, engineering, quality, commercial operations, administration, and finance for the 33,000 sq ft facility. The GM leads a team of production, quality, engineering, stores, and administrative staff and is accountable to the CEO for the unit's operational performance and business growth.

The business unit manufactures LT panels including PCC, MCC, PDP, PLC panels, and VFD panels for power and control applications. The GM is expected to build a world-class, process-driven operation — safe, on-time, profitable, and growing.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) from a recognised university.

• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in LT switchgear / panel manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing a full manufacturing team.

• Hands-on knowledge of LT panel design, busbar sizing, and testing per IEC 61439 / IS 8623.

• Demonstrable experience managing production planning, quality systems, and customer FATs.

• Experience owning a P&L or budget, including managing material costs, overhead control, and margin reporting.

  Preferred Qualification

• Post-graduate qualification in Management (MBA / PGDM) or equivalent industry certification.
• Experience with PLC panels (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Schneider) and VFD panel builds and testing.
• ISO 9001 implementation experience — either as management representative or as a key contributor to certification  

Technical Knowledge required

• IEC 61439, IS 8623, IS 375, IEC 60529 (IP ratings), IEC 60446 (wire colour codes).
• Short-circuit calculation, busbar sizing, derating, and protection coordination principles.
• MCCB, ACB, contactor, relay, and VFD selection and specification.
• Electrical testing: Hi-Pot, insulation resistance (megger), primary injection, functional testing.
• Sheet metal understanding for procurement and incoming inspection of enclosures.
• Basic working knowledge of PLC programming verification and I/O commissioning.
