Job DescriptionJob Description:\n\n GRAPHIC AND DIGITAL CONTENT DESIGNER DEPARTMENT: Marketing IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Vice President of Marketing and Advertising CLASSIFICATION: Exempt NATURE OF THE POSITION Design, produce, and coordinate visual and multimedia content for marketing campaigns, corporate events, and digital presence, ensuring brand consistency across multiple business lines. Responsible for graphically designing the visual and digital content of campaigns, as well as technical functions in event setup, photo and video production, and digital content such as podcasts. This role includes creating visual content for social media, updating the company's website designs, and producing graphic materials for events and promotions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop graphic and digital content; design artwork for social media, logos, brands, email marketing campaigns, printed materials, billboards, stands, presentations, advertisements, videos, and advertising pieces.Develop infographics, brochures, product sheets, and corporate visuals.Keep the graphic guidelines of the brand and sub-brands up to date.Create and adapt designs for different business units or internal accounts, such as medical equipment and laboratories.Document events, training sessions, meetings, conventions, conferences, and others through the capture and editing of institutional photographs and videos, testimonials, and content for commercial or internal use, including posting to social media in a timely manner.Record, edit, and produce short videos for campaigns, Reels, YouTube, or WhatsApp Business.Coordinate, produce, and edit corporate podcasts, including script, audio, image, and visual layout of the content.Develop, create, and use independent judgment when making decisions regarding required pieces or collaborations.Collaborate with other departments and divisions to ensure brand consistency across all graphic materials. This includes, but is not limited to:a. Consulting the corresponding operational team — whether Sales, Specialized Sales, Marketing and New Product Development, Application Specialists, Service Technicians, Hospital Division, or Industrial Division — to understand the products and communication needs when a clearer perspective is needed, following the guidance of the Vice President of Marketing and Advertising, and ensuring designs are produced with as few revisions as possible.b.
Collaborating on new proposals and suggesting innovative ideas for campaigns based on expertise. This includes, but is not limited to, participating in meetings with internal clients to discuss project or task requirements and designs, ensuring full understanding of the assignment, the message, and the target audience.c. Proposing campaigns, projects, and initiatives to the Vice President and/or Marketing Manager and/or relevant managers to maximize business opportunities, including but not limited to social media, online, print, mail, and other multimedia channels.Design and prepare visual materials for events, including but not limited to screens, banners, backdrops, credentials, and folders.Coordinate with suppliers as needed to discuss or receive recommendations regarding graphic pieces to be produced or published.
This includes supervising the work completed in accordance with established artwork and designs. Such artwork review must consider principles of visual communication techniques, especially message effectiveness, such as Calls to Action.Keep the company's website graphically up to date.Create drafts and concept sketches, iconography, and layouts to present to internal clients for evaluation, discussion, review, and approval.Select images, graphics, artwork, and photographs and make alterations or improvements as appropriate.Select the appropriate typography for the production of written or published material and present examples to the internal client for evaluation and approval.Evaluate campaigns and messages requested by internal clients and issue recommendations for consideration and approval by the corresponding manager, including the most effective communication methods and techniques.Develop and distribute sales, marketing, and training materials according to internal client specifications.Protect data integrity and the normal flow of operations by handling and maintaining, under strict confidentiality, all sensitive and confidential information that has not been published and/or should not be accessible to others, without prior and explicit authorization from the corresponding ELT member or the relevant client.Always demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, courtesy, business etiquette, and provide the highest quality customer service to all constituents: employees, contractors, consultants, clients, suppliers, visitors, and prospects.Actively contribute to cultural transformations, as well as to upholding the company's mission and achieving its vision; model through performance and conduct the efficiency culture philosophy, Bionuclear's values, and the principles of the highest-quality internal and external customer service. INCIDENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESStay current on developments and best practices in the field.Generate reports on project plans and progress status.Keep visual resources, image banks, campaign versions, and files complete, up to date, and organized, including but not limited to records of work requiring external contracting and financial disbursement, having requested at least three quotes for all external work and obtaining prior written approval from the supervisor and/or corresponding manager.Participate collaboratively in brainstorming processes, content planning meetings, and design and sketch review and approval through final sign-off.Know and execute in accordance with crisis management strategies and best practices, including the pairing of created pieces for mitigation and audience retention or capture.Collaborate in the visual setup of stands, health fairs, launches, or internal activities.Demonstrate through performance and conduct a high commitment to improving the customer experience and ensuring operational efficiency.Create graphic artwork for materials to be distributed or sent digitally at conventions and conferences.Create and design artwork for calendars, specials, and digital product catalogs.Collaborate by proposing ideas for establishing and taking the necessary steps to properly maintain the corporate image and company brand across all types of publications, printed materials, and presentations.Coordinate with contractors on promotional items, as well as communications and/or graphic arts projects.Research product attributes on manufacturer websites and/or manuals and collaborate with the Marketing, New Business Development, Diagnostic Sales, Specialized Sales, Hospital, and Industrial teams for the development of brand messages.Complete required documentation; always maintain responsible, honest, timely, professional, and courteous communication with supervisors, co-workers within and outside the department, internal clients, and suppliers as applicable.Coordinate, attend, and/or participate in work meetings, operational and/or corporate committees, staff development activities, corporate events, conventions, and others.Other duties as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. ACADEMIC PREPARATION Associate's Degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Communications, Visual Communication, Audiovisual Production, Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Minimum of two years performing similar functions, especially in graphic design, multimedia content creation, website design and basic maintenance, photography and video production, editing, and animation creation.
