Group Product Manager
About the Role:
The Marketing Product Management team has broad responsibility to leverage digital marketing and advertising technologies to build best in class, omnichannel communication tools and customer experiences to maximize return on investment and grow customer lifetime value and retention.

- The Group Product Manager for Marketing will play a strategic leadership role in key areas of the overall marketing product vision; providing tactical guidance for a team of product managers in organizing, defining, prioritizing, and delivering features for targeted and 1:1 personalized marketing campaign.
- Their expertise in product management, combined with deep understanding of the retail and grocery industry, will be instrumental in enhancing our digital marketing campaigns, as we continue down our transformation towards 1:1 marketing.
- She/he will define the product vision and roadmap for their product sub pillar to achieve the business KPIs. She/he will be responsible for collecting and interpreting user research and data, conceiving innovative products, creating a robust product roadmap, and managing the product lifecycle.
- The right candidate will be a strategic and ambitious visionary with the proven ability to deliver products that create impact and deliver exceptional value to our associates, vendors partners who are deeply focused in serving our guest shopping omni channel.
- This leader should be highly motivated to succeed and influence his/her team and stakeholders to do so, in an approachable manner, that engenders trust and confidence at all levels across the organization.
- This role will also be looked upon to provide expertise on larger and more complex initiatives and projects that overlap between teams within the Marketing Product portfolio.
- To be successful in this role, you must have a strong customer obsession, strategic mindset, critical thinking, bias for action, data savvy, visual storytelling, technical proficiency and comfort with modern cloud native marketing and advertising tech stacks
- Must have extensive experience and knowledge in retail Marketing, eCommerce, Digital knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of product management experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, and/or retail-facing experience
- Passionate about building great products that scale, and solving customer and business problems
- Data-driven/analytical mindset, strong prioritization and negotiating skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to align cross-functional teams around a cohesive product vision.
- Strong technical ability to translate user needs into requirements, user stories and development of acceptance criteria in an Agile environment.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering delightful customer experiences that create customer and business value.
- Demonstrated ability to create an overarching product vision, using data and analysis to support strategy and prioritization, and day to day product execution.
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Successful track record leading the full product lifecycle from strategy to execution for customer-facing digital capabilities.
- Experience working with both onshore and offshore engineering teams to build features and ensure quality of delivery, including sprint planning, product backlog management, technical sizing of tasks, and feature prioritization.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams, and influencing conversations to drive positive outcomes for the product and the business.
- Understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, shaping the product roadmap and strategy accordingly.
- Improving the team in some subset of product management practices, vision, creativity, ownership, hiring, mentoring, and team culture.
- You should have demonstrable track record for innovation and produce value at cross sections of people, process and technology, with empathy for end users.
