Leap Gymnastics is looking for Gymnastics Coaches to join their team in Mumbai.
Role Overview:
The Coach (Men's / Women's Artistic Gymnastics) will be responsible for leading and strengthening India's elite gymnastics performance program in the respective discipline. The role focuses on developing high-performance athletes capable of achieving success at international level. The coach will design and implement modern training programs, oversee daily training at national camps, and work collaboratively with Indian coaches to build sustainable technical capacity within the country.
The role also involves talent identification, athlete evaluation, performance monitoring, and contributing to coach education initiatives. The position requires strong leadership, international coaching experience, effective communication in English, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment while upholding athlete welfare, professionalism, and ethical coaching practices.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement high-performance training programs for elite gymnasts.• Conduct national coaching camps and talent development programs.• Accompany the National team as Coach to International Events as and when required.• Work closely with Indian coaches to enhance technical knowledge and coaching standards.• Assist on the National age group program to Identify and nurture young talent.• Monitor and evaluate gymnasts' performance and progress.• Coordinate with sports science team - physiotherapists, S&C, nutritionists, etc. to optimize athlete performance.• Assist in Selection of Gymnast and Coaches/support staff for camps and competitions.• Ensure adherence to safety and ethical standards in coaching including anti-doping and safeguarding.
Preferred Qualification / Experience / Skills • International-level coaching experience in the respective discipline (MAG / WAG).• World Gymnastics recognized coaching certification or equivalent qualification.• Proven track record of training gymnasts who have competed at Olympic Games and World Championships.• Strong command of modern coaching methodologies. Should be able to communicate in English (written and verbal).• Working knowledge of computer applications (training plans, reports, communications, etc.).• Experience in coach education and long-term athlete development will be an added advantage.
