Job DescriptionJob Description Boat CrewBolongo Bay Beach Resort is located on the serene island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands and is a family-owned and managed beach resort nestled in a beautiful sandy bay along the Caribbean Sea. Known for our famous all-inclusive package, friendly hospitality, exciting experiences and one-of-a-kind guest amenities, there's no better place to see life in the Virgin Islands than at Bolongo Bay.

We are currently the only all-inclusive resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands.Job Summary: Sailing catamaran needs 1st and 2nd mates! 53' catamaran based at a popular local resort is looking for crew.
Half-day snorkel trips and Sunset Sails 3-4 days p/week + occasional full day trip and private charters. Previous experience working on a sailing vessel is preferred. Membership in APCA or other drug testing Consortium required.
CPR & First Aid certification, or at least in the process of obtaining. We're looking for people who already live on St. Thomas or in process of relocating, are dependable, appreciate meeting new people, enjoy working outdoors/on the ocean with great customer service skills.Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Adhere to all US Coast Guard regulationsBe familiar with all rules and regulations regarding the boats and enforce them as neededEnsure the safety of all guestsClean work area including ash trays and trashKeep up with all new hotel information including toursClean the outside of boat when scheduled to do so.
This includes scrubbing off the algae on the outside and waxing the boat. Make certain there are enough life jackets aboard for all passengers. Greet guests as they approach the dock.
Make sure you know the locations of other boats in the water. Tie down the boat immediately after docking before guests step on or off. Lend a helping hand to guests getting on or off boat.
Keep boat batteries plugged in and charging while boats are docked. Keep dock clean and in order. Keep storage room clean.
Qualifications: Qualifications include:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience/educationMembership in APCA or other drug testing Consortium required. CPR & First Aid certification.Lifeguard/boating: 1 year Customer service: 1 year Physical Requirements:Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. (Up to 9 hours) Reports to: Boat Captain Job Status: Full-Time and Part-Time Shift: Day Shift Weekend Availability
