Head Marine Surveyor

we are looking for a Head Marine Surveyor to lead our Survey Vertical in Mumbai.

Position: Head Marine Surveyor (H&M, P&I, Cargo)Location: Mumbai, MaharashtraEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: Minimum 2-3 years of survey experience post sea serviceLevel: Senior / Head of VerticalJoining: Immediate / As per availability

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct H&M, P&I, and Cargo surveys independently as per international standardsHandle vessel condition assessments, cargo damage, and incident investigationsAttend drydock, pre-purchase, and on-hire/off-hire inspectionsManage deployment and coordination of surveyors across assignmentsLead, mentor, and train junior and mid-level surveyorsReview and finalize survey reports ensuring accuracy and complianceAct as technical interface with clients including P&I clubs, underwriters, and shipownersSupport business development and expand survey operations

Qualifications:

Master (FG) - PreferredorChief Officer (FG) / Chief Engineer (Motor) with strong survey experienceProven exposure to H&M, P&I, and/or Cargo surveysExperience in Indian ports/coastal trade preferred

Skills Required:

Strong technical knowledge across vessel typesExcellent report writing and analytical skillsLeadership and team management capabilitiesClient handling and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments
