Head of Operations

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to join our Group through our U.S. subsidiary based in Connecticut.

We are seeking professionals with proven experience in fresh cheese production gained in Italy, who are motivated to take on an international assignment and contribute to the operational growth of our business in the United States.

You will lead and oversee all operational activities at our production site, ensuring excellence in efficiency, quality, and compliance, while driving growth and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage all plant operations, ensuring alignment with Group standards
2. Oversee fresh cheese production processes, guaranteeing high-quality output
3. Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, processes, and performance
5. Manage and develop local operational teams, fostering a strong performance and quality culture
6. Collaborate closely with the CEO and Group functions to align local operations with corporate strategy
7. Monitor operational KPIs, costs, and productivity, ensuring targets are met

Ideal Profile

1. Solid experience in fresh cheese or dairy production
2. Strong operational leadership and people management skills
3. Willingness to relocate to the United States
4. Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on operational approach
5. Fluent in Italian and English (Italian is a must)
